Official: FC Barcelona announces the arrival of Wojciech Szczęsny

THE FC Barcelona officially announced this Wednesday the signing of the Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny for a period of one year, until June 2025.

The former Poland goalkeeper, who initially retired after theEuro 2024decided to reverse his decision and join the Catalan club, convinced by his compatriot Robert Lewandowski.

Barça had to react quickly after the serious injury of its starting goalkeeper, Marc-André ter Stegenvictim of a torn ligament in his right knee, which will keep him away from the field for several months.
