A new sanction falls for Ousmane Dembélé!
After his sidelining against Arsenal, Ousmane Dembélé, sidelined once again by PSG
Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to face Arsenal this Tuesday evening as part of the second day of the Champions League. However, Ousmane Dembélé will not be there, having been removed from the group by coach Luis Enrique for disciplinary reasons. The French international is also set to receive a new sanction from the Parisian club.
Luis Enrique's criticisms of Dembélé
Ousmane Dembélé was excluded from the match against Arsenal after a tense discussion with Luis Enrique, which occurred last Friday after the victory against Rennes (3-1). The Spanish coach criticizes his player for a lack of involvement as well as non-compliance with instructions.
“If a player does not respect his commitments to the team and is not ready… It is a crucial week, with an important match, and I want my players to be in the best possible condition,” Luis Enrique said in press conference.
Is Dembélé at risk of losing his ethics bonus?
Luis Enrique, supported by the management of PSG, affirms that there is no personal conflict with Ousmane Dembélé. “To be frank, I don’t want to create controversy on this subject. There is no dispute between us. The problem lies only in the player's commitment to the team, not in the relationship between the coach and the player,” explained the former FC Barcelona coach. Despite these clarifications, PSG took drastic measures against the French winger.
