Real Madrid faces major locker room problem
Carlo Ancelotti finds himself managing a dressing room full of established stars and promising young talents, a complex task that raises concerns among Real Madrid's management.
This summer, the Madrid club welcomed Kylian Mbappé (25 years old) and Endrick (18 years old), which pleased the fans, although some were left wanting more. Indeed, they were also hoping for the recruitment of a central defender after Nacho left for Saudi Arabia, especially since the team is regularly affected by injuries in this area. Despite this, Florentino Pérez and his team considered this acquisition not essential, leaving Ancelotti to juggle with the available squad and adjust accordingly.
However, Carlo Ancelotti is not complaining, well aware that he has a squad rich in quantity but especially in quality. Nevertheless, the Real Madrid management is expressing some concerns. It is not really alarmed by the club's somewhat timid start in La Liga or the lack of goals from Kylian Mbappé, in whom it has total confidence. The directors believe that KM9 will be able to adapt without difficulty. What worries the Spanish management more is another problem. According to ASthe club strongly fears possible tensions between certain players.
Leaders are concerned
Real Madrid's directors are concerned about the situation of some players, but not when it comes to Mbappé, Vinicius or Rodrygo. The Iberian publication instead mentions young talents considered “luxury replacements” for the moment, such as Brahim Díaz, who often performs well when he comes on, Arda Güler, who is starting to lose patience, and Endrick, who has already expressed his intention to leave on loan this winter if he does not get more playing time. The club fears that these players are unhappy with their current situation. AS also mentions Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni, who will have to fight to establish themselves in midfield.
The management, very attentive to the well-being of the team, is counting on Ancelotti to manage these frustrations without affecting the harmony of the group, a task far from easy. Moreover, Rodrygo, who benefits from a significant amount of playing time, has already made some comments about his situation, which has not escaped Florentino Pérez and the other management. They are all the more surprised to see a regular starter express his feelings and fear that the less used players will follow his example, thus risking creating tensions in the locker room. Carlo Ancelotti will have to work wonders to maintain the balance and manage this cohabitation throughout the season.
