“Everyone speaks for him,” Dugarry said. “The rare times Zidane has spoken, he has shown an interest in the French team. He is at least consistent on this point. He has been said to want to sign for Italy, England or Bayern Munich, but he has never responded. Where I agree with Jean-Michel Larqué is that we might never see Zizou as a coach again. Yes, that is a possibility.”

Despite rumors sending him to Paris, Manchester or Munich, he has not taken the step for any club. However, the French team remains his ultimate dream. “Zizou is still interested in the French team.
