a new coach approaching for October
Appointed interim coach of the Syli National of Guinea after the dismissal of Kaba Diawara this summer, Charles Paquille will not be reappointed to his duties for the next international break, but could remain as assistant.

Charles Paquille will soon no longer be the coach of Guinea.
With a significantly different roster than in previous windows and the return of a few players, including the expected Mady Camara, Guinea was hoping to get its qualifying campaign for the next Africa Cup of Nations off to a good start.

Unfortunately, the Syli National lost in the Democratic Republic of Congo on a largely avoidable goal (1-0), then against Tanzania (1-2). A second defeat that leaves a stain even if the Tanzanians are a tricky team.
Dussuyer back with Paquille as assistant?
In a very particular context with a dislocated federation (cascade of departures, resignations and dismissals since the election of Bouba Sampil as president in January), also marked by a case of sexual abuse of minors still unresolved, Guinea is looking for a new coach to lead the next matches.
Placed as interim, the former assistant Charles Paquille will not be renewed despite his good relations with Michel Dussuyer, who returned to Conakry this summer at the head of a “transitional board”. And if some already imagine the French technician as a firefighter on duty on the bench against Ethiopia in October, others at the federation have initiated contacts with local and foreign technicians. The trend, however, would be towards a duo of Dussuyer as head coach and Paquille as assistant.
