Good news for Real Madrid!
The injury problems in Real Madrid's defence finally seem to be fading. Carlo Ancelotti recently gave encouraging news regarding the return of David Alaba after a serious injury that kept him sidelined since last season.
It has now been more than eight months since Real Madrid defender David Alaba began dealing with the consequences of a torn anterior cruciate ligament. The painful injury occurred in a La Liga match against Villarreal in December 2023, where the Austrian international was forced off the pitch after just thirty minutes of play.
Following surgery, his return to the pitch remained uncertain for a long time. However, the 32-year-old defender recently returned to the pitches of the Madrid club's training center, a first since his injury.
During a press conference, Carlo Ancelotti confirmed this positive development regarding his central defender. “David Alaba is still recovering, but he is progressing very well. Today he stepped on the pitch at Valdebebas, and things are looking good. It is important to remain patient.”Ancelotti said at the pre-match press conference for the league match against Las Palmas on Thursday, August 29.
