Bruno Fernandes sends perfect four-word message to former Man Utd teammate after transfer exit confirmed
Bruno Fernandes has sent a poignant message to Hannibal Mejbri after his former Manchester United teammate completed his move away from Old Trafford this summer.
Hannibal Mejbri had struggled to establish himself as a regular in the Manchester United first team under Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.
The 21-year-old ex-United midfielder only managed five Premier League appearances for the Red Devils last season, with Hannibal scoring once for his side.
Hannibal was shipped off on loan to La Liga side Sevilla in the January transfer window and the midfielder failed to impress during his six-month loan spell.
The Tunisia international was limited to only six La Liga appearances with Sevilla, with Hannibal managing one start in Spain’s top-flight league last season.
Sevilla had the option to make Hannibal’s move permanent at the end of the season, but the Spanish club sent the former United player back to Old Trafford instead.

Fernandes’ message to Hannibal
Hannibal Mejbri took to Instagram on Wednesday to mark his exit from Old Trafford after the former Manchester United talent signed for Burnley.
Burnley’s new summer signing had been heavily linked with Scottish side Rangers before Hannibal completed his move to Turf Moor.
According to BBC Sport, Burnley agreed to pay an initial fee of £5.4m to sign Hannibal from United, with further add-ons raising the transfer to £9.4m.
United have also included additional sell-on and buy-back clauses as part of the deal for Hannibal, who inked a four-year deal with the Championship club.
Bruno Fernandes took to Instagram Stories and tagged Hannibal in a personalised message, with the United captain wishing the midfielder the best of luck at Burnley.
“All the best kid,” he wrote, adding a raising hands emoji alongside his post.

Speaking to Burnley’s official website, Hannibal welcomed the opportunity to play at Turf Moor and feels the “project” at the club is the perfect fit for him.
“I’m very excited,” he said.
“I’m very happy to be here and I can’t wait to see the fans. I have played against Burnley before at Turf Moor and the atmosphere was amazing.
“After speaking to the coach [Scott Parker], the project sounded good to me and, hopefully, we can make success.”
